Solgen Power is seeking a dynamic, Office Administrator that is self-motivated and highly organized. You must be able to jump in and contribute to a dynamic team environment while maintaining a reliable, personable, team-orientated disposition. Successful candidates will have a professional attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment!

Previous accounting experience and/or knowledge of payroll processes and procedures is required. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

Administrative & Business Operations                                                                                          

  • Responsible for day-to-day tasks, including mail distribution, office supply inventory and purchasing, errand running, filing, data entry, answering phone calls.                                                                    
  • Accurately record and maintain piece rate records sending weekly reports to the Accounting Department.
  • Assist Branch Manager with projects as they arise.
  • Maintains cleanliness of office on a day-to-day basis.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Facility Management

  • Ensure office facilities are clean, safe and orderly

Human Resources

  • Under the director of the HR Director, assists in new hire orientation, onboarding, and training.
  • Ensure new hire paperwork is completed according to local, state and federal laws.
  • Sends any and all HR related documentation to the HR Director.
  • Communicates on a consistent and on-going basis with the HR Director.
  • Under the direction of the Branch Manager and HR Director, assist with ensuring employee compliance with office policies & procedures.
  • Supports the company‚Äôs culture and values.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior office experience, or other applicable experience
  • Advanced computer skills – especially Microsoft Office Products
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Prior accounting or payroll knowledge/experience is required.
  • Prior experience with new hire onboarding and orientation is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a construction office environment is highly preferred.
